The iNEST maker club wrapped up spring semester with a shortened final meeting on May 10th. The students met in small groups to reflect on lessons learned during the semester, then Deborah and Stephanie led a group discussion. Students were treated to cake and popcorn, then filled out plus/delta stickies on their first semester's experience.
After finishing up a post-survey on their club experience this term, students worked on two new LittleBits quests in GameLab this week--a sensor-based alarm that goes off when a backpack is opened, and a mechanical throwing arm. The throwing arm quest introduced students to the mechanical engineering field. The club is wrapping up for the semester with one more week to go. Next week, we will celebrate our first semester with cake.
